Thank you for your interest in health coaching and Nutrition Response Testing ©. I'm so glad you are here!
My passion for helping people change their health started in my home and led me to becoming a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and then a Nutrition Response Practitioner. Welcoming several foster care children into our home who had behavioral, eating, sleeping and skin issues caused me to dive deep into natural ways to support them. It became my mission to help the kids alleviate these issues naturally. My love for cooking, essential oils, homeopathy and so many other techniques proved to be helpful for many foster children, including my youngest adoptive daughter.
My oldest daughter has celiac and it has been a journey discovering this and getting her body in a healthy state once we got the diagnoses. This led me to Nutrition Response Testing when I saw the impact it had in improving her health. Her acne cleared, her stomach pain went away, her eczema is completely gone, her periods became regular and she can tolerate foods she couldn't in the past.
NRT which allows me to see what areas are stressing the body and then guide clients so they feel better.
My goal is to assist you in living the healthiest balanced life you can!
At Naturally Balanced Life, I enjoy working with kids. I love to educate families on what they can do to impact their child's wellbeing through food and natural products. It can be so confusing to know what foods to give your children and how to prepare them so they will eat them and reap the health benefits. We adopted my daughter through foster care when she was 10 months old. She was born addicted to cocaine and heroine. She had many health concerns when she came to our family. I changed her diet and implemented various adjustments to her health. Her eczema went away, she sleeps through the night and her outbursts have been minimized. She is now 7 years old and with detoxing what was stressing her body, a nutrient dense diet and homeopathic remedies she is thriving.
My daughter was diagnosed with Celiac disease about 6 years ago. She had eczema on her face which no teenager wants to deal with. Even though all gluten was eliminated from her diet she still experienced stomach aches and a constant full feeling. I worked with her to figure out what foods and products she was using that were attributing to the inflammatory symptoms she was experiencing. Through the AIP diet and lifestyle changes she is feeling much better. She now knows which foods are best for her body and which foods are inflammatory and cause her to feel bad. By fueling her body with optimal foods specific for her she experiences the best energy with the least symptoms. She knows what foods her body does not do well with and stays away from them so she can feel her best.
Digestion is a complicated process and one that I love to help clients with! There are so many factors that go into healthy digestion of our foods and so many things we can do to increase the nutrition we are getting from the food we eat. You could be eating a "perfect" diet but your body may not be absorbing all that nutrition. I want to work with you to help you gain the most nutrients out of your food.
Many clients I work with have constipation, bloating, diarrhea or acid relux. Understanding more about digestion and tactics you can do to increase how your body digests can alleviate these problems.
I was a vegetarian for 17 years and used to experience symptoms of IBS. For the past 10 years I rarely have an upset stomach since detoxing and putting into practice all I learned and all I hope to share with you!
